Fairlie great.....

After coming back from Italy and Arran, returning to riding on the moor has been like greeting an old cherished friend. I've managed up there 4 times in the last 8 days (what a wife...) and have loved every minute of it.

On Sunday, Robin, Des and myself enjoyed a wee day out riding the trails, and then descended on our ride end pub, the village inn. The annual beer festival was well under way, despite the inclement weather, and the BBQ was smelling great. A selection of twelve beers were available in half pint glasses, so we carried out our duties with gusto, trying out as many as we could!.

A bite of dinner and a mammoth journey, due to scotrails incompetence, followed. Great day.

Then tonight, Robin, Klaus, one of his geeky retrobike mates and I headed back up for another ride. We were met with perfect riding conditions, and island weather conditions that gave fantastic vistas across all the Clyde islands. Gorgeous.
